Partnered with the You-Are-Beautiful sticker project, Strip Joker presents some of Chicago's finest stand-up comedians, each telling their own tales of self-acceptance and body positivity. The June 10 lineup includes: Tim McLaughlin (The Blind Bet) Brittany Meyer (the kates) Kat Herskovic (Neurotica) Brandon Kirkman (Ego Trip Club) And headliner, Kellye Howard! Kellye Howard is a writer, speaker, and stand up comedian that has been featured on Comedy Central, TBS, NBC, FOX, WGN, among others. She was most recently featured on Last Comic Standing and Fox Laughs. Her latest projects include two one person shows, “UNmarried, the Naked Truth”, an original one act play produced by The Onion writer, Jason Rhee, as well as “Transparent”, a stand-up comedic rendition of "Unmarried". Tickets are $15 online, with limited tickets available at the door the day of the event. Every ticket purchase for Strip Joker also comes with a complimentary ticket for a show at the Laugh Factory Chicago, a $20 value. Uptown Underground is a 21+ venue, and IDs must be shown at the door for entry. Cash bar available. Guests should arrive early for a good seat.
