With more than 150,000 visitors from Chicagoland and far beyond, Market Days is one of the largest outdoor events in the country and draws a vibrant mix of gays and lesbians of all ages and backgrounds. The North Halsted area of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood is one of the city's most popular year-round dining and nightlife destinations for both city residents and visitors. This popularity gets magnified during Northalsted Market Days®, the Midwest's largest two-day street festival. Market Days spans four city blocks and has 17 entrance gates. The event features three main music stages where more than 40 top-name local and national music acts perform. Besides its reputation for the best live music and people-watching in Chicago, Market Days is also famous for its unique mix of nearly 300 food and arts and crafts vendors. In fact, vendors from across the country savor the opportunity to showcase and sell their wares to this unique, upscale crowd.
