Chicago Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame Induction
Thursday, November 12, 2009 - The Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center. 13 individuals and 1 organization were inducted. U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Chicago) and Marilyn Urso, R.N. were recognized as Friends of the Community. Chicago is the only known municipality that so honors its LGBT residents.
