Chicago House opens nation's first transgender housing

Monday, July 15, 2013 - On Monday, July 15th at 10 am, Chicago House alongside local elected officials, donors, trustees, and friends, were elated to cut the ribbon and make history with the opening of TransLife Center, a first for the nation facility offering a comprehensive array of services including housing, employment programs, support services and more.
