In an astounding 2 night sellout, EDM tech house artist Fisher hit the decks on Sunday, Nov. 18 to a roaring Chicago crowd. He's been on the road for quite some time now on his "Losing It" tour, titled after his hit song that has been taking the tech house community by storm.

Taking place at Concord Music Hall on Milwaukee Ave., the Australian artist was greeted by people from around the world. I met people in the crowd from South Africa and some from Spain. They were in Chicago for various reasons, but this night they came to see Fisher perform.

The night opened with local DJ's Dee Mash and Omnom kicking up some groovy beats in a stage setup I that I've never seen before in person. Instead of being on stage like traditional concerts, Fisher and his team placed the DJ booth to the center of the venue, a strategic move that gave concert goers a 360 degree experience of light and sound. I was impressed by the disco balls that painted a sea of light beams across the room. When all the spots shined on them at once it really gave you that "This is it" feeling of euphoria as the music swelled around you.

A refreshing concert experience to say the least. The staff was friendly, the vibes were open, the music was freaking fantastic and I will be going again for sure. Take a look at some of the pictures I took and you'll see why it was such an awesome experience! ChicagoPride.com gives a special thanks to Concord Music Hall for allowing us to cover this event. We can't wait to see what else they have in store.
