Well, then I'll meet you October 26th, at Anthem , Crobar Chicago!!!!! I previously mentioned that it was going to be slated for the 12th of October, but I lied. Out of Town regulars will consist of Victor, Tracy, and Tony, while local legend Teri Bristol will also be on board once a month. We'll see you at the function!

October 8th saw singer Teresa belting her tunes at Carly's Lounge, 2251 W. Devon. She's new on the scene with songs written by Chicago's Mike Gannon. Stay tuned for her next performance, kids…..she's got a good sound and definitely will be going places! October 11th had DJ Paolo at Hydrate making the boyz all wet. October 10th had Crunch Gym giving away free memberships at Minx club on Hubbard St. The 10th also saw the release party for "Radio" (Cuba Gooding's new flick) at Bacchus on Lincoln Ave. They had a pre-screening party and merchandise giveaway. Sources say it was quite fun and the movie is really good to boot. October 16th saw the beginning of a run of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts. Guest stars include Mancow, and Jerry Springer.

MZ. Vanity Fair and Mi Mi Marks are hosting "Twisted Tuesdays" at Hydrate. The night consists of men, Twister, men taking their cloths off, more games, men and…..oh, did I mention men? Speaking of Club Wet, Hex Hector will be there on Halloween Friday throwing down like only he can. Seems Chicago is going to have much to do on Hallow's Eve, with Boy George at Zentra also, and who knows what Crobar may have up their sleeve. It appears that Legendary Mondays at Zentra are not so much legendary any more. Word on the street is that the night is done, however, Mz. Lego is rumored still to be on board with the house of Zen.

PROPS: It's time for props to the following: CELEDA. You can't keep a good bitch down! Watch for her return that will be bigger and badder than anything you've seen. KENYA BLACK: Hydrate Wednesdays live for her Whitney Houston act. She's a true performer and quite a doll. JOE GUILLEN: The lighting wench! We love Joe and he never gets his name in lights! He's made your lighting experience all that since the days of Vortex honey…..say thanks the next time you see him in the booth at Hydrate. Is it time for an Aqua Netta appearance? Where has she been hiding all these years?

Watch for Tag Team Saturdays to pop up at Circuit in the near future. Plans are in the works for an Eterno-McBride tag team reunion Buddha Lounge style. Other tag team players will consist of…………..well, I can't give the cow away with the milk, now can I? Stay tuned for more details. If you haven't made it down to Chinatown lately, you should. "Themes From a Neon City" is the club night getting rave reviews at Dru's Lounge (Archer Ave. and Wentworth St.). Progressive House, a lounge atmosphere and an overall good time make for a cute night on the south end of town.

WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS: The Chemical Brothers will be throwing down on Wednesday October 22nd at Transit Night Club. Get there early because this is going to be a sickening event! Wicked Park's infamous Double Door Lounge will be hosting the Signified Sound System on November 5th. Boasting a 6 piece ensemble of hip-hop and soul fusion, it's something that you eclectic minded folks don't want to miss. Every 1st and 3rd Friday sees Circuit hosting the Chix Mix crew to much pleasure of the ladies. Martha Wash will "Carry On" with a set at Club Reunion on November 29th. Martha hasn't been to town in years and seeing her sing live is quite a treat, kids! That's it for now, and remember: Beauty from a far is actually far from a beauty!
