Andersonville Midsommarfest announces 2017 entertainment line-up

Chicago, IL - Andersonville Midsommarfest kicks off the busy summer street festival season with three days of energetic entertainment, shopping, international food and drink from Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11.

The just announced entertainment schedule includes local favorites 16 Candles, Catfight, Wedding Banned, Abba Salute and more.

Now in its 52nd year, Midsommarfest is one of Chicago's oldest summer street festivals and showcases Swedish tradition as well as the neighborhood's diverse population.

The suggested $10 donation benefits the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce. The money raised at Midsommarfest goes to support programming and events in Andersonville during the rest of the year, including Andersonville Arts Weekend.

Andersonville Midsommarfest takes place along Clark St. from Foster to Catalpa.
