Two Orlando hospitals won't bill Pulse shooting victims

Two Orlando-area hospitals said this week that they won't bill the victims of an attack on a gay nightclub.
More than 50 people were wounded and 49 people died when a lone gunman opened fire in the Pulse on June 12.
Orlando Regional Medical Center treated more victims of the shooting than any other hospital.
"During this very trying time, many organizations, individuals, and charities have reached out to Orlando Health to show their support," said David Strong, the CEO of the center's parent company, Orlando Health. "This is simply our way of paying that kindness forward."
Florida Hospital also said that it would not be billing the 12 victims it treated.
While Orlando Regional has said that it will bill insurance if a patient has it, Florida Hospital said that it won't bill insurance and that the victims would continue to receive free continuing care.
The hospitals are expected to turn to federal, state and victims' funds to make up the losses.
