Building on the success of last year's Winter Fest, the
Northalsted Business Alliance (NHBA) announced plans for a weeklong schedule of chill events celebrating all things cool in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood.
From a Soup Walk, pairing local restaurants and retailers to a one-day Brisk Brews craft beer event, the first of its kind Frost Fest will run Feb. 22 to 28."We pride ourselves on our fantastic summer festivals and want to carry that spirit into the winter," said Christopher Barrett Politan, Executive Director of the Northalsted Business Alliance. "We also hope to bring brisk business at a time of year that is generally less robust."While details are in development, organizers offered ChicagoPride.com a sneak peek at the fabulous Frost Fest line-up:Sunday, Feb. 22, 2 p.m. – 4p.m. Soup Walk: Neighborhood retailers showcase the street's best soups.
