Chicago, IL - There are several news releases making their way to the public this issue. Annie Lennox's new single "Cracked Pavement" on J records hits the streets with mixes by Scumfrog, Mac Quayle, Gabriel & Dresden, and Goldtrix. Coming out on Tommy Boy sometime soon is Kristine W's follow up to "Some Lovin". It's entitled "Fly Again" with mixes by Scumfrog and it promises to be way cute. Remixer Tracy Young puts out a limited edition double pack release on Kunduru Records (rumored to be her new start-up label) entitled "Living Theater". 4 tracks line this ditty, with cuteness layered throughout. Soon to be released on Emerge Records is legend Donna Summer's new cut "So Beautiful". Tony Moran delivers the goods on this cute song. Speaking of Donna, her classic "I Feel Love" has been cleaned up and reworked by DJ Danny Howells and is making a comeback on dancefloors across Chicago. Christina Aguilera's new track "Fighter" on RCA comes our way with remixes by Hani. I hear that more mixes are coming and are actually available on the Internet, but the jury is still out on these supposed mixes. Star 69 picked up the import by Andria Doria called "Bucci Bag". Put out in two releases, there are mixes from Peter Rauhofer, Johnny Vicious, and Muzakis. Also to be out in July on Star 69 is Lula's "My Empires" with mixes by Friburn & Urik.

Chicago's favorite Ralphi Rosario has been keeping busy. He and Martin Fry are showcasing their "Second Reunion" track on Sex & The City. (show website) The song will be played behind the scenes as Samantha visits a leather bar. Ralphi is also finishing up mixes on Linda Imperial's track "Destination You" and Alma Matris' "Rapido" (to be released on Expanded Music). Lastly, E-Smoove is adding a set of mixes to the Ralphi - Suzanne Palmer collaboration "Remembering You" to be released in the near future.

New on Yoshitoshi is Melanie S with "Sacred Dance". This tune is on their "Global Underground Toronto" CD and is really picking up in popularity. Yoshi offshoot label YO! Gives us Mr. Groove & Vergas' new cut "Black & White". The Wet mixes are all that on this cut. Alma Matris gives us a new import cut "Humeda" on Mantra Vibes records. Giangi mixes shine on this one. The Orange Factory lets us have it with their rendition of "White Horse". The vinyl is unmarked and there are 3 mixes, one better than the other. Ceevox's unreleased "Werkin'" was all the rage down at Disney a few week's back. This is circulating among the "In" DJ's and currently doesn't have a release date, but promises to mark another hit for Lady C. Lastly, Madonna's new cut "Hollywood" will be making its way to you by the time this article runs to press. Deepsky hit a set of mixes, but the vibe again goes to Victor Calderone and his much-anticipated mixes.

Interesting stuff out of Miami as of late; Aalacho's "Satellite" made it onto the Deep Dish Toronto compilation. The Evolved mixes (Mike Mucci) are the ones in play right now. Speaking of Evolved, soon to be released on Baroque Records is their new track "A Matter of Time". Mucci will also have a production entitled "Live In the Light" by the Vampires coming late summer that promises to be dark and yummy. Mucci and Frank Lord (ObAdam) just finished new mixes of a cut called "I Am The Drum". No release date on that as of yet. Kudos out to singer Michael M for getting his remake hit "No Way Back" onto Peter Rauhofer's Live at The Roxy II compilation. Lastly on the Miami tip, keep an eye out for a punk/house combo cut called "Control" by Da Freeks. At press time there was no release date set on this tune. There are a bunch of new items for review, so read on:
