Label Mate FERRAS To Open On Tour, Which Launches March 4

Chicago, IL - A FINE FRENZY aka Alison Sudol will launch a North American tour on March 4th in San Francisco, CA. Label mate FERRAS (pronounced Fer-AHSS) will be the supporting act.

But before hitting the road, A FINE FRENZY will make her national morning television debut, performing her hit single "Almost Lover" on CBS' "The Early Show" on Friday, February 23rd. "Almost Lover," the lead single from her debut album, One Cell in the Sea, has become an anthem of unrequited love, capturing the hearts of young women everywhere and spawning numerous youtube covers. Last week A FINE FRENZY debuted her follow-up single "Come On, Come Out" on "Late Show with David Letterman." If you missed her performance, be sure to check it out here:

"Come On, Come Out" is used in the film Sleepwalking, which opens March 14th, as well as in the end title credits and trailer. Sleepwalking, from Ferris Entertainment, LLC and Overture Films, LLC, stars Nick Stahl (Sin City, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), AnnaSophia Robb (Bridge to Terabithia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron (Monster, North Country), who also produced the film. A moving drama about the deep familial bond that develops between a 30-year-old man and his young niece after the girl's mother suddenly leaves town, Sleepwalking was directed by William Maher from a screenplay by Zac Stanford (The Chumscrubber) and also stars Academy Award® nominees Dennis Hopper (Hoosiers, Blue Velvet) and Woody Harrelson (The People Vs. Larry Flynt, Natural Born Killers).

One Cell in the Sea, which entered Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart at #3 last year and rocketed to #1 before crossing over to the upper half of The Billboard 200, has elicited accolades from the likes of Interview, Paste, Entertainment Weekly, Vogue, Harp, Billboard and InStyle. It has been widely licensed, with songs already heard on "CSI: NY" (the 2007 season premiere, which also featured Sudol's acting debut), "One Tree Hill," "House," "The Hills" and "Big Shots." A FINE FRENZY, named an Editor's Choice for "Best New Artist" in the iTunes Best of 2007, has toured with Rufus Wainwright and Brandi Carlile and performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Last Call with Carson Daly" (in addition to "Late Show with David Letterman").

FERRAS, who will open on the upcoming tour, makes his debut with Aliens and Rainbows, scheduled for release on April 1st. Produced by The Matrix (Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, Korn) with their frequent collaborator Gary Clark (Natalie Imbruglia, Lloyd Cole), Aliens and Rainbows presents a daring young artist whose songs, while inspired by Bowie, Queen and Elton John, are infused with a distinctly personal sensibility.

Lead single "Hollywood's Not America," a USA Today "pick of the week," was tapped for the "Hollywood Week" of the hit Fox series American Idol (airing February 12th and 13th). American Idol fans can pre-order Aliens and Rainbows from the store on the show's website and FERRAS' video for "Hollywood's Not America" will be given its world premiere on Tuesday, February 19th at http://www.americanidol.com//.
