AIDSCare Presents Annual Premier Party

Chicago, IL - AIDSCARE will host its annual fundraiser, "Fat Saturday Ball," on Saturday, February 2, 2008. This carnival infused evening begins with a cocktail reception with passed hors d' oeuvres and Bacardi specialty bars. The silent auction will alternatively transport partygoers to the whimsical shopping districts of Venice, Rio and New Orleans. The evening continues with a heavy buffet, open bars, continuous tantalizing entertainment, dessert bars and music to dance the night away. $300 VIP and $175 regular tickets are available by calling 773-359-0174.

AIDSCARE will honor distinguished members of Chicago's corporate, civic and charitable community at the Fat Saturday Ball:

• Real Estate firm, Baird & Warner, will receive the " The Daniel R. Ruscitti Memorial Award,"
• Charles Buettgen, will receive the James V. Flosi Founder's Award,"

• William Skalitzky , will receive the "Community Leadership Award,"

"AIDSCARE is the only AIDS organization in Chicago which is constructing new housing for individuals and families who are otherwise homeless and diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in a campus setting," said Jim Flosi, AIDSCARE, Founder and CEO. The agency, with the opening of its third housing facility now has 66 units, housing over 100 men, women and children in the past four years while also responding to the city's 10 year plan to end homelessness in Chicago. "By attending our annual Fat Saturday Ball, guests join us in further developing and expanding our services to some of the poorest and sickest people in our communities," Flosi added.
