X/O Closing April 22; New Restaurant to Open in Same Location

X/O Chicago owner Mark Lieberson has announced the popular Boystown restaurant is closing its doors after brunch Sunday, April 22nd.
The X/O location at 3441 N. Halsted will be remodeled and opened as Halsted's Bar & Grill, described as a more casual bar-and-grill concept that will serve a moderately priced lunch and dinner menu.
The Halsted's Bar & Grill kitchen will be be led by Elliott Green and Dacia Lange the current sous chef and pastry chef at X/O.
The new restaurant will feature "Halsted Street's first-ever video jukebox system."
Lieberson anticipates the new restaurant will open on May 13th, 2007.
X/O will be serving dinner Wednesday through Saturday at 5:30 p.m., as well as brunch on Sunday from 11 til 3 p.m.
"We will be working hard to leave you with a wonderful memory of the great food and service that our staff has taken pride in delivering," Lieberson said in a statement.
Lieberson hopes to relocate X/O Chicago downtown.
