New gay podcast, Windy City Queercast, Launches with a Chicago Party

Sidetrack hosts with the cast of Chicago’s SPELLING BEE, YES Vodka and More!

Windy City Media Group and YES Vodka present the launch of Windy City Queercast (WCQ) in a spectacular event for ONE NIGHT ONLY!
Monday, October 16th one of Chicago’s leading podcasts, Windy City Queercast (formerly Windy City Radio) will throw a grand party to launch their new online radio show. Join hosts Amy Matheny and Peter Mavrik (pictured) and many WCQ contributors at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted, during the bar’s famous Showtunes Night. The event will take place from 7 –10 pm and will include plenty of entertainment, giveaways and special appearances. The event is free to the public and no reservations are needed to attend.
Special guests will include cast members from Chicago’s hilarious company of The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee featuring WCQ’s very own pint sized political pundit and Bee contestant Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre (as portrayed by Christine Werny). Also performing are Windy City Gay Idol finalists and the 2006 Winner Gay Idol winner Christy Fairbairn.
Do you know how to spell "S-T-O-N-E-W-A-L-L"? If you do, you may want to enter Windy City Queercast’s especially themed gay Bee. Winners will walk away with theater tickets from Broadway In Chicago and the ultimate "Gay" Spelling Bee title of course. Others attending will be eligible to win fantastic prizes including Pet Shop Boys concert tickets, MP3 Players, Yes Vodka Merchandise, CDs and more.
Another new product to Chicago joins the mix, YES Vodka. YES Vodka drink specials will be served and guests will get to meet the YES Vodka Boyz and Girlz.
