The Kimpton Hotel Group has a long standing history of catering to the LGBT market. The first hotel chain to score a perfect 100-percent on Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index in 2004, Kimpton repeated the honor in 2005 and 2006.

Kimpton is also nationally recognized for its contributions to LGBT charities, including a recent partnership with Parents and Friends of Gays & Lesbians (P-FLAG), new in 2006.

Founded in 1981 by Bill Kimpton, the hotel group is a unique collection of boutique hotels paired with chef driven, hige end restaurants. Several projects underway for the coming year include hotels in Southern California, Texas, Florida and Virginia.
