Chicago, IL - Earlier this month, Team Chicago unveiled the official home team logo and uniform for this year's Gay Games VII, taking place in Chicago on July 15-22.

The uniform for the Opening Ceremony on July 15th consists of a light blue jacket and a matching tee shirt. Both pieces will have the Team Chicago logo on the front left breast – with boxes in blue and a silver backing – the graphic on the back of the items will show the Chicago skyline reflected in the bean shape Cloud Gate sculpture from Millennium Park. The jacket is a light blue outer shell of micro polyester and runs slightly large. It has contrasting white piping on the collar and arms and a white panel down each side, under the arms. The tee shirt is 100% cotton. The uniform will also come with a trading pin that is the Cloud Gate graphic in the “bean” shape.

Traditionally registrants of the Gay Games® enter into opening ceremonies wearing their Team uniform.

Chicago and Midwest area registrants are encouraged to purchase a “Home Team” uniform to have a unified look as we enter into the stadium. Those Chicago and Midwest area registrants who are not wearing a Team Chicago uniform will be asked to wait until the uniformed Team Chicago members have made their entrance into the stadium.
