Chicago, IL -
To the televised backdrop of the stars, Oscar wins, and famous red carpet moments Center on Halsted is rolling out their red carpet again this year for its annual Oscar Party on Sunday, Feb. 24 at Chicago's Park West, 322 W. Armitage.
Already in its 12th year, this year's On the Red Carpet Oscar Party will welcome guests to an evening of cocktail service, a buffet of heavy hor'dourves, a raffle drawing, a predict-the-winner contest, and a host of exclusive silent auction gifts.
Tickets range from the $50 paparazzi ticket, which includes two drink tickets, balcony seating, and buffet to the $75 spotlight ticket, which includes cabaret table seating and cocktail service, buffet dinner, and three drink tickets. Guests wishing to be closer to their favorite stars can opt for the $125 celebrity ticket, which includes premiere booth seating, VIP champagne service, courtesy of Chandon, 4 drink tickets, tableside cocktail service, and a buffet dinner. Last year, Center on Halsted (COH) raised a record $70,000 for their programs and services.
COH's special events manager Dustin Erikstrup urged guests to come to the event camera-ready as he joked, "the paparazzi will be out."
"The Oscar party is always an event where people dress up in whatever they feel comfortable or whatever best expresses them. No matter how you dress, your picture will be taken. The glamazons will be out," said Erikstrup.

Only a few days from the event, already over 300 tickets have been sold to the red carpet party and attendance is expected to top last year's, which attracted over 400 guests. With other competing Oscar parties occurring throughout the city, Erikstrup is confident that COH's Oscar Party stands out among the rest and attributee the Park West and its dynamic entertainment system.
"Park West has three giant screens to view the Oscars. There's not a bad seat in the house," he said.
In addition to guests, the event has also attracted a wide array of silent auction items for bidding during the evening. In particular, Erikstrup has his eye on a pair of three-day VIP passes to lollapalooza paired with a two-day stay at the Homewood Suites downtown. Erikstrup noted that the silent auction will feature gifts and items that have been strategically matched to maximize the bidder's experience and bid.
With an expected sold-out event, a most wanted list of silent auction items, and more, COH is already looking for bigger venues to host next year's On The Red Carpet Oscar Party.
