AIDS Legal Council of Chicago to Host Pre-Broadway Kinky Boots Theater Night

Cyndi Lauper to Attend VIP Reception as Honorary Chair

Chicago, IL - AIDS Legal Council of Chicago (ALCC) is proud to present a special theater night event in conjunction with Broadway In Chicago, featuring a pre-Broadway performance of the new musical Kinky Boots. Cyndi Lauper, who wrote the score to the musical, accepted an invitation from to be the Honorary Chair of the event and attend a reception with ALCC ticket holders.

"I am pleased to be the Honorary Chair at ALCC's Kinky Boots theater night fundraiser, and I look forward to meeting supporters at the VIP reception. Participating in this event is a great way to commemorate the Council's 25 years of service to the community."

The performance and cocktail reception with Cyndi Lauper are set for Thursday, October 11th, with a 7:30pm curtain at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago.

Ann Fisher, Executive Director of ALCC, is enthusiastic about the theater event. "As ALCC commemorates its 25th year of providing free legal services to people with HIV, we are honored that Ms. Lauper is joining us in support of the Council's life-saving work. We can't wait to spend an evening at this pre-Broadway production of Kinky Boots and enjoy time with Ms. Lauper and friends of ALCC at the reception," she said.
