Centaur's Party Groove: White Party collection has a long-standing record of celebrating excellence in dance music, boasting top-notch DJs and award winning artists. This year, Centaur carries on with the tradition with the return of DJ David Knapp to the Party Groove: White Party CD series to mix the Sixth volume.

Party Groove: White Party Volume 6 is a collection of #1 hits, new recordings and standout mixes that carry the energy and excitement known to be synonymous with DJ David Knapp.

With a musical career spanning two decades, David Knapp has commonly been referred to as the "The People's DJ," playing a musical program that always pleases everyone in his audience. His signature sounds of multi-layered anthemic vocals, interlaced with one-of-a-kind, on-the-spot productions will blow away even the most sophisticated ear. Knapp has held residencies at almost every venue (past and present) carrying a cache name; Twilo (NYC) and Salvation (Miami), and he has headlined practically every major North American event; White Party (Palm Springs & Miami), Black & Blue (Montreal) and IML (Chicago). Knapp has been hailed one of the six top and most influential DJs in America by GQ Magazine and he truly has helped frame the modern party paradigm.

Song selections for Party Groove: White Party 6 stack up in true David Knapp form, diva heavy and dance floor primed. Knapp also selects his mixes carefully drawing from the top shelf of America's remix producers including Victor Calderone, Tony Moran, Ralphi Rosario and Mike Cruz. The thirteen tracks mix seamlessly blends songs from the global dance charts with new domestic releases, introducing us to new beats while satisfying our desire for the familiar.

Chart topping tracks featured include the #1 international hit "Lola's Theme" by Shape:UK and the #1 UK hit "Strings of Life" by Soul Central, unmistakably two of the year's biggest global dance hits. The Victor Calderone mix of "Lola's Theme" featured in Knapp's mix certainly made a huge impact on the charts state-side. Knapp also introduces us to the track "La Noche," a global hit from the summer, which he discovered on his travels through France. D-Formation has infused the beautiful instrumentation with a tribal tip, giving it a newer and higher energy. From Israel, Knapp also uncovers a reworking of the Barry Manilow classic "Could It Be Magic" which DJ Vic beefs up with a strong baseline.

America's top names in dance are also featured in the new Knapp mix. Tony Moran and Ralphi Rosario put their golden touch on "Party Time" and "Mas Energia" respectively, each raising the energy with their signature beats. Amber's new smash hit "You Move Me," taken from her new album, shows that this dance diva still has what it takes to stir up the drama on a dance floor. Her vocals are powerful and Mike Cruz delivers the standout mix currently climbing the dance charts. Powerful vocal performances are also laid down by Rachel Panay and newcomer Alyson, two artists who are currently carving a name for themselves on the dance music scene.
