Chicago, IL - OutLoud Chicago and The Qu present Queer Comedy at Zanies, Tuesday January 24th at 7:30pm at Zanies Comedy Club 1548 N Wells. Queer Comedy's season premiere will feature headliner Chip Pope (Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Beavis and Butthead, The Rosie Show) Host Adam Guerino (Laugh Track at Sidetrack, Gay Chicago TV,) Meredith Kachel and Matteo Lane.

After being featured in Timeout Chicago, The Redeye, Metromix and Gaper's Block, Queer Comedy at Zanies returns for season two at a brand new prime-time slot. Season one featured the best queer and straight comedians of the country who have appeared on Comedy Central, BET, TBS Just For Laughs and Last Comic Standing. Season two promises to continue showing that no matter if the comedians or audience members are queer or straight, laughter knows no sexuality.

OutLoud Chicago is a series created by Adam Guerino to install queer entertainment in mainstream Chicago venues to blur the lines of sexuality. The Qu.co's mission is to create a multi-media website for queer artists to showcase their work to an audience of like minded people; where their sexuality informs the conversation instead of restricting it.

Chip Pope's stand-up comedy has been featured live across the nation as well as on NBC's "Late Friday" and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend." He has appeared in the films "Clockstoppers" and opposite Al Pacino in "Simone." He has written, produced and starred in TV pilots for HBO, ABC, FOX, Comedy Central and NBC. He has written for "Beavis and Butthead" and is currently working on "The Rosie Show." For clips, calendar and more, www.ChipPope.com.
