Friends and allies recognized during annual Human Rights Campaign Chicago fundraiser
Chicago, IL -
Piper Perabo and Tiffany were among the special guests at the HRC Chicago Gala this past Saturday at the Fairmont Chicago, 200 N. Columbus Drive.
HRC Chief Diversity Officer Cuc Vu addressed the crowd at the annual fundraiser.
The HRC Ally for Equality Award was given to Perabo, the Golden Globe-nominated actor currently starring in USA Network's Covert Affairs. She also starred in Imagine Me & You, a lesbian feature film from England, and Lost and Delirious, a lesbian feature from Canada.
Chicago-based Orbitz was given the Corporate Equality Award for their diverse team.
The evening also included a VIP reception with a silent and live auction, plus a performance by pop singer Tiffany.
An after-party at JBar continued until the late hours, which brought the night to a close.
