Gay twins featured at Reeling, Rosie O'Donnell, Dr. Phil and "Jack & Jill"

"Hollywood to Dollywood" premieres at Reeling 30; after party at Spin Nightclub
Chicago, IL -
Winner of eight recent film festival awards, which includes a "Director's Choice Award" (Sacramento Film and Music Festival) and multiple "Best Documentary" awards (Memphis, Atlanta, Sacremento, Nevada Film Festivals), "Hollywood to Dollywood" premieres locally today at The Chicago Lesbian & Gay International Film Festival.
In the documentary, identical twin gay brothers Gary and Larry Lane have written a script with a plum roll for one of their idols, Dolly Parton. Having had no luck getting the screenplay into her hands, they embark on a cross-country expedition to personally deliver it to her.
Prior to the screening, the twins' documentary will be featured on the Rosie O'donnell show airing today. Gary and Larry Lane will also appear on the Dr. Phil show this Friday November 11th, the same day "Jack & Jill" starring Adam Sandler - and featuring the twins - premieres in theaters everywhere.
The screening of "Hollywood to Dollywood" takes place tonight, November 9, at 7:00 p.m. at the Landmark Century Theater.
A Q&A with the Lane Twins will immediately follow the screening.

In a GoPride Network interview this past summer, the twins discuss their new box office film "Jack & Jill" starring Adam Sandler, their documentary "Hollywood to Dollywood", winning at reality TV shows "WipeOut" and "Fear Factor", the wisdom they received from Will & Grace's Leslie Jordan, and how their own boyfriends tell them apart: "[Our boyfriends] have mixed us up a few times, but found out before anything happened," Gary Lane confided in the interview.
The twins were able to secure 15 of Dolly Parton's songs for the documentary. When asked about their favorite Dolly Parton hit, the Lanes replied, "for both of us it's the song "Family"; we played it to our mom when we came out to her, and she cried and cried, so it was important to have it in the film."
