Gay comedy, starring Alec Mapa, selected for festival screenings

Being tagged as a gay comedy where, "the cocktail is always half full," the latest project by Jesse Archer ((Violet Tendencies, A Four Letter Word(Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Connie and Carla), is moving into the screening phase of its intial production.

Half-Share is the official selection of the 2011 Palm Springs International ShortFest, the 2011 International Television Festival and the 2011 Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival.

Half-Share focuses on the experiences of Fire-Island, NY newcomer Mac looking to unwind and relax at the beach after coming out of a 14-year-long relationship. However such is not the case as high-camp hyjinks ensue when house-mother Ito (portrayed by Mapa)introduces Mac to the lascivious side of the area's local culture.
