Elton John talks baby with Barbara Walters, confirms Lady Gaga is godmother

Elton John and his partner David Furnish talk about fatherhood with ABC's Barbara Walters in their first TV interview since the birth of their son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, this past Christmas.
During a portion of the upcoming interview, which aired on Good Morning America on Friday, John confirms that Lady Gaga is the godmother of their son.
"Yes, yes she is. When you get to the real person under there, there's a real simple person under there who loves her parents, the 64-year-old John told Walters.
John also tells Walters they learned the surrogate was in labor while he and his 48-year-old partner were out lunching and shopping. John says he was the one to cut the umbilical cord.
Walters promises to ask some big questions, including which one is the biological father. Viewers will also get an opportunity to see Zachary.
The exclusive interview airs Friday, April 22 at 9:00 p.m. (CT) on ABC's 20/20.
