Chicago's 12th Annual Dining Out for Life set for Thursday, April 29

Evening's proceeds from participating restaurants help AIDSCARE in battle against HIV/AIDS

Chicago's 12th annual "Dining Out for Life"—an evening when area restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds to the battle against HIV/AIDS—will be held on Thursday, April 29. As of late March, 75 restaurants have signed on to participate. Last year's Dining Out for Life Chicago raised more than $110,000.
The event's beneficiary is AIDSCARE, an organization that provides invaluable housing, care and support services to thousands in greater Chicago.
Chicago will be joining 36 other cities in North America that will hold Dining Out for Life evenings in 2004. More than 25 of these cities are expected to designate April 29 as their local Dining Out for Life evening.
"We are especially excited about this year's event," says Jim Flosi, executive director of AIDSCARE. "Our newly hired development director, Cecilia Bottrell, is also serving as the 2004 president of the International Dining Out for Life Association and she'll lend a tremendous amount of experience and success to our local program."
