Sept. 10 – Oct. 4, 2026 Written by Anna Ouyang Moench and directed by Kirsten Fitzgerald, this quiet father-daughter drama returns after a sold-out run. The story follows a dad and his daughter over ten years of birdwatching in their backyard as their lives, relationships, and the world change around them. It stars John Judd and Cassidy Slaughter-Mason.
Heroes of the Fourth Turning
Oct. 29 – Dec. 6, 2026 Written by Will Arbery and directed by dado, this Chicago premiere takes place late at night in Wyoming. Four graduates of a small Catholic college meet to celebrate their mentor, but the party soon turns into an intense debate about faith, politics, and personal ideals.
You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World!
Feb. 4 – March 14, 2027 Written by Keiko Green and directed by Terry Guest, this dark comedy follows a family facing a terminal medical diagnosis while trying to make sense of a changing planet. It stars dado and Sadieh Rifai in a story that blends big emotional moments with humor and heart.
Rosmersholm
May 6 – June 13, 2027 Ensemble Members Steve Haggard and Shade Murray adapted this new version of Henrik Ibsen's classic play. Directed by Murray, the story centers on a former pastor dealing with political turmoil, wild rumors, and the death of his wife. The cast includes Sherman Edwards, Steve Haggard, Travis A. Knight, and Natalie West.
Leadership update
A Red Orchid also announced that Travis A. Knight is stepping down from his role as Associate Artistic Director as he heads to Broadway to work on Paranormal Activity. Knight will remain an active ensemble member and will return to perform in Rosmersholm next spring.
