Gay couple marry in Antarctica

British couple Eric Bourne and Stephen Carpenter got married aboard a polar research ship off the coast of Antarctica. The scientists, members of the British Antarctic Survey, exchanged their vows on the RRS Sir David Attenborough while within the British Antarctic Territory.

"It felt tlike the perfect place for us to finally tie the knot," they said. "We've even had the coordinates of the wedding location engraved into our rings."

The captain of the shop officiated the wedding.
