Chicago, IL - ChicagoPride.com, the premiere online resource for Chicago’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gendered community, unveiled today new features, contributors, partners and, even, a new look (logo) for the site.

“Our goal is to showcase the vibrancy and diversity of our community, while giving visibility to LGBT charities, organizations and businesses,” says R. Matthew Inawat, president. “We spent time researching the interests and needs of our community. This led us to establish partnerships and alliances with many wonderful people and organizations in our community. We now believe our site offers the most complete information about Chicago’s LGBT community on the internet,” Inawat added.

Visitors to the site will find the following new additions:
• Fox News in the Morning Entertainment Producer and Celebrity Correspondent, David Viggiano, will contribute regular columns on the site offering celebrity interviews and entertainment news.
• DJ Michael Pleasants (DJ Plez) has joined ChicagoPride.com as the site’s Music Editor. A self-proclaimed “house-head”, Pleasants has made an impact on the global dance music scene with events from Zurich and Montreal to Miami and Milwaukee. Pleasant will be a part of Fireball 2004.
• ChicagoPride.com, the official Chicago web sponsor of “Fireball,” has established Chicago’s “Official LGBT Community Calendar” in concert with the Hearts Foundation. This will be a very useful tool for all organizations and businesses planning special events and projects. We intend for this to be the one place you can turn to see who is planning what, when. Local businesses and organizations can submit events and press releases to press@chicagopride.com.
• ChicagoPride.com has updated it’s logo. Look for the new logo on the site.
