'Since clubs opened in the U.S. (after being closed due to the pandemic), making music and getting ready for all the big events I have in-store has been amazingly gratifying,' says Scheiman

Wrapping up Pride month, DJ Guy Scheiman comes back to Chicago for the official after-party, CircuitMOM Take-Over: PRIDE, which starts at 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 27 at Joy District (112 W. Hubbard Street).

The popular Israeli DJ who now lives in Denver will, no doubt, bring a live version of his new high-energy track that he produced along with DJ Brian Cua.

It's 'Pride Baby,' with a Tel Aviv vibe on the classic (Pride) A Deeper Love.

“I think it's an amazing take on a classic, a true big-room mix; it's a true big-room anthem,” said Scheiman, 40, who has carried his DJ label for 17 years after first serving as a DJ at a local, mid-week party in his native Tel Aviv.

Pride Baby runs about 6 minutes.

“Brian remixed many of my songs; he is a talented, hard-working artist and super-fast.  We finished this mix in less than a week,” Scheiman said.  “I love working with him.”

Scheiman, the resident DJ at BEEFtlv, sent sounds to Cua and the edited acapella.  Cua then build music around it, “and then I took it to the next level with the final edit and sounds,” Scheiman said.

“Since clubs opened in the U.S. (after being closed due to the pandemic), making music and getting ready for all the big events I have in-store has been amazingly gratifying.”

Scheiman has spun many times over the years in Chicago at Hydrate Nightclub.  “It's a beautiful city; the people are super friendly and have so much energy,” he told GoPride.com.  Plus, “the parks and events are wonderful; I can't wait for (the Chicago) event with CircuitMOM.
