Windy City Gay Idol Finals, June 19 at Sidetrack

Chicago, IL - Windy City Media Group along with Miller Lite and Bacardi present the eighth annual Windy City Gay Idol Finals at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted on Sat., June 19 with doors opening at 1pm and the show starting at 3pm. Former Windy City Gay Idols Kerri Grant, Cori Calderon, Luis Vega, and Amy Kelly perform along with special guests Stage Door Johnnies. Guest judges include Claire Simon of Claire Simon Casting, Kirk Williamson, Managing Editor of Nightposts magazine, and Ms. Cleo, psychic, shaman, and poet.

After nine preliminary competitions the crowning of Chicago's best amateur gay and lesbian singer, the 2010 Windy City Gay Idol, is almost here. Come be a part of the fun as the audience votes for the winner.

Thirteen contestants have survived after three months of competition as the best and most popular singers representing local bars across Chicago (Glenwood, Wild Pug, North End, Jackhammer, Berlin, Scarlet, Sofo, Spin, Roscoe's and Sidetrack). The singers compete for audience votes at the Finals to become the 2010 Windy City Gay Idol winning $1000 cash, a pair of American Airlines tickets, Bacardi basket, Miller Lite Beach Cruiser, and tickets to Ravinia.

Audience members at the event can also be big winners. Someone will win a pair of American Airline tickets to travel anywhere in the 48 states, Mexico and the Caribbean, tickets to Ravinia, and more.

There is a $10 cover. Audience members will receive a drink ticket and a chance to win a pair of American Airline tickets.
