Individual game tickets for the 2010 Cubs baseball season, dubbed "Year 1" in reference to the new ownership by the Ricketts family, officially go on sale Friday, February 19 at 10 a.m. (CT).
The Ricketts family took over ownership of the Cubs from the Tribune Company late last year. Laura Ricketts, a prominent lesbian, is part of the active family management. Ms. Ricketts participation in the MLB organization is a first for the LGBT community.
Laura is a gay rights advocate and fights for gay marriage. She serves on the board of Lambda Legal, a national organization fighting for gay rights.
Tickets can be purchased online, at Wrigley Field and through other outlets.
