Chicago Police have issued a warning of strong-arm robberies in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood just days before the 48th annual Chicago Pride Parade.
There have been four strong-arm robberies in a several block radius - from Roscoe to Belmont and Racine to Halsted - during the month of June. All happening during the early morning hours.
Police warn that offenders armed with guns or knives approach victims in the street or alley, then shove the victims to the ground or against the wall and steal their belongings.
Two or three attackers have been involved in each robbery. Police describe the offenders as black males ranging in age from 16-35. One offender was described as being a black male dressed as a woman wearing a red dress.
Police advise residents to pay special attention to any suspicious people loitering in the area.

• 3200 block of N. Racine on June 9, 2017 at 1:30 a.m.
• 3200 block of N. Halsted on June 9, 2017 at 3:35 a.m.
• 3200 block of N. Kenmore on June 11, 2017 at 2:45 a.m.
• 3300 block of N. Halsted on June 15, 2017 at 12:01 a.m.
