Neverland brings the Big 80's to Boystown for Halloween

Wed. October 26, 2016

Halloween is about to get gnarly at Fantasy Nightclub this Saturday

Fresh off their largest party ever this Market Days, Neverland is celebrating Halloween at Fantasy Night Club this Saturday by paying homage to the decade of jazzercise, scrunchies and shoulder pads.

This is the fifth year Neverland is hosting one their high-concept theme parties for gay Chicago's Halloween weekend and the group's founder and creative director Anthony DiFiore promises this 80's bash will be an even "darker, sexier party with more dancers."

"I'm obsessed with 80's films," DiFiore told ChicagoPride.com. "I grew up on 'Some Kind of Wonderful,' 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off,' 'E.T.,' 'The Breakfast Club'...there was so much iconic music and fashion coming out of the 80's. When we look back at the naughts (00's), I don't know if they'll have the same amount of personality. It's impossible to channel an entire decade into one party, but Martin and I will be selecting our favorite elements, and that's what you'll see on stage."

Neverland never fails to deliver on a fabulously creative and well-designed set and Saturday, Oct. 29 is no exception. Partygoers will be treated to a ton of interactive, colorful visuals a la Neverland's own Mike Rubino and Timmie Foley as part of a set channeling 80's workout videos, classic MTV music videos and all the iconic 80's fashion.

Are you, like, totally freaking out now because you don't have an 80's costume planned? Take a chill pill! ALL costumes are welcome and while breaking out the spandex and neon will put you in good company alongside Neverland's cast of sexy gogo dancers, performers and decor, it is by no means mandatory.

Worldwide headliner Isaac Escalante returns to Chicago to spin for the event the night before he heads to NYC to DJ for their infamous and popular Alegria party. Get there before midnight for your chance to be considered for the costume contest with the chance to win cash prizes and tickets to every Neverland party in 2017.

Don't be a bonehead and miss the biggest gay Halloween party in Chicago this Saturday at Fantasy Night Club, 3641 N Halsted. Tickets are just $29.99 and can be purchased online. Check out Neverland's Facebook event for more information and get stoked for a bitchin' good time.
