Sears shares video of same-sex nuptials at Chicago Pride Parade

Watch: One Day. Four Weddings. One Millions Guests.

Chicago, IL - Sears on Friday released a video of the four same-sex wedding ceremonies which took place  last month during the Chicago Pride Parade.

Over one millions spectators attended the 45th annual Chicago Pride Parade on June 29, which was the first parade since Illinois' marriage equality law went into effect statewide on June 1.



The marriage-themed entry by Sears featured two gay and two lesbian couples getting married. The float was awarded 'Best Business Entry' by parade organizers.

The four couples were profiled in the video posted on YouTube, titled Sears: Proud to Give More To All.

"I'm married," one man says after the ceremony. "I'm happy. I'm just happy."



Hoffman-Estates Sears Holdings Corporation runs Sears and Kmart. The company joins Macy's and JC Penney in launching public campaigns that embraces the LGBT community.
