Los Angeles-based retailer American Apparel's latest Gay Pride shirt is colorful and 15% of proceeds go to GLAAD.
The $28 unisex white t-shirt – a tank runs $24 – is emblazoned with a rainbow colored "OUT!"
Fifteen percent of all net sales will benefit GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization.
Dov Charney, founder and CEO of American Apparel, said in a statement that the company is a strong advocate for LGBT rights.
"American Apparel has always been a passionate ally of the LGBTQI community," Charney said. "From our now iconic 'Legalize Gay!' and 'GAY O.K.' tag lines and our ongoing partnership with GLAAD, American Apparel is committed for the long haul."
The "OUT!" t-shirt is available online and at American Apparel retail outlets.
Editor's Note: There are 7 American Apparel retail locations in the Chicagoland area including the location at Belmont and Clark, 929 W. Belmont Ave.
