Queer As Folk - The Babylon Tour

Toronto, Canada - Embrace Productions Inc. today announced details of the summer tour - QUEER AS FOLK - THE BABYLON TOUR. Working in conjunction with Showtime Networks, Embrace is bringing the popular Showtime series Queer As Folk to life via a multiple city dance club DJ tour called, QUEER AS FOLK - THE BAYBLON TOUR. This tour, which runs in May, June, and July of 2003, will recreate 'Babylon,' the vibrant nightclub featured in the television series, in top clubs across the nation.



QUEER AS FOLK - THE BABYLON TOUR will launch in New York on May 3 at Roxy and continue through Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, Orlando, and Miami in May and Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Houston in June, with a date in Vancouver falling in the first week of July. Embrace will announce additional tour dates in the coming weeks.



Partnering with established local promoters in each region, Embrace will enable tour attendees to experience first hand the look and feel of Babylon through elaborate productions that feature actual set pieces from Queer As Folk. To further enhance the Babylon experience, Embrace has acquired world renowned DJs Peter Rauhofer, Tracy Young, and Manny Lehman, with theatrical support from artistic performers RKM.

In support of the tour, Tommy Boy Entertainment will be releasing Queer As Folk - The Third Season Soundtrack on May 20th.
