Chicago, IL -
NunnontheRun.com is presenting Nunn's Halloween Habit benefiting Vital Bridges Center on Chronic Care, a program of Heartland Health Outreach, Inc.
On Wednesday Oct. 30 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at The Call Bar, 1547 W. Bryn Mawr in Chicago, Illinois with a suggested donation of $20 at the door this evening promises to be something very special.
After successful parties in the past Jerry Nunn decided to pay back the community who has supported his photography and stories over the years. "I have delivered meals in the past as a volunteer for Vital Bridges and wanted to raise money for victims of HIV/AIDS while celebrating at the same time during this dress up holiday season."
His Nunn on One column in Windy City Times over the years came in handy when contacting talent to put on a show starting at 7:00 p.m. Confirmed talent consists of local singers as well as past contestants from television competitions American Idol, The Voice, and X Factor. A variety of comedians are slated to appear as well as local female illusionist lip synching to hit tunes. Rounding out the hour the Chicago Cabaret Project will be performing selections from their current endeavor Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Variety will be the spice of the night with the LGBT community all represented for a good cause. There will be a costume contest and prizes from the NBC series Sean Saves the World including an autographed poster from the cast and numbered lithographs of Madonna. Skyy Vodka has generously donated their cocktails for the first hour complimentary.
Local restaurants have donated gift certificates and more surprises are expected from the Nunn bag of tricks along the way.
Nunn hopes that this fundraiser continues to be a hard habit to break and will become an annual event in the future.
