Lance Bass, the former 'N Sync member, took to social media on Sunday to announce his engagement to boyfriend Michael Turchin.
"He said YES!! Love this man @michaelturchinart," Bass wrote in a caption alongside a photo posted on Instagram.
"Happiest guy in the world," Turchin had tweeted several hours earlier.
The couple got engaged in New Orleans after Bass proposed with a black diamond band, according to US Weekly. Bass reportedly texted Turchin's parents to ask for their permission first.
The couple started dating in December 2011 and currently live in Los Angeles. Bass, 34, came out in 2006 with a People magazine cover story.
