With its race car themed "Equality... Full Speed Ahead" float, Sidetrack won for 'Best Business' entry in the 44th annual Chicago Pride Parade, which drew a record 1 million people to Uptown and Lakeview on Sunday. In 2012, the popular Boystown bar - known for its elaborate and colorful floats - took the 'Best All-Around Float' category.
Other winners among the 204 parade entries included: Filipinos & Friends in Chicago (FINC), Asians & Friends Chicago (AFC), Lake View High School and Berlin Nightclub. Balloons by Tommy received a a special acknowledgement for its entry.
