VIDEO: Chicago LGBTQA Senior Housing breaks ground

Chicago, IL - Heartland Housing and Center on Halsted formally broke ground on the region's first LGBTQ-friendly, affordable senior housing development June 3, 2013. Repurposing the historic 23rd district Town Hall police station, the 79-unit building will provide an important new option for all seniors in need of a safe, affordable place to live. Units will be available to seniors in need of affordable housing, regardless of their sexual orientation.
