Tickets still available for Chicago House Speaker Series with Kenneth Cole

Chicago, IL - Designer and social activist Kenneth Cole will be the featured speaker at Chicago House's 4th Annual Speaker Series Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 2.

"Kenneth Cole has been an outspoken supporter of homeless organizations, of AIDS related causes in the fashion industry, and is a trailblazer in using big business to promote social responsibility," said Jeremy Hilborn, Chicago House's Manager of Special Events.

In its inaugural year, the organization welcomed President Bill Clinton to kick off what is now the its largest annual fundraising event, and the past two years featured a keynote address from former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and award-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg.

"The past three speakers have brought political perspectives, as well as some comic relief on the issues of importance to Chicago House," said Hilborn. " An icon in fashion and business worlds, Kenneth Cole will give us a new perspective on how big business can be socially and philanthropically impactful."

Emceed by ABC 7's Cheryl Burton, the luncheon will bring awareness to HIV and AIDS, plus celebrate the accomplishments Chicago House has made in Chicago, while raising funds to support the over 1,400 HIV affected men, women, and children they serve.

The event, which is co-chaired by Todd Hamilton, Managing Director at Bolder Capital and Susanna Negovan, Splash Editor at Chicago Sun-Times, will take place Friday, Nov. 2, at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave. The afternoon, which expects over 800 attendees, will kick off with a VIP meet and greet reception, followed by lunch, and the presentation and Q & A with Kenneth Cole.

Tickets for the event are priced at $150, $300 and $500. A limited number of tickets are still available - tickets will not be available for purchase at the door. For more information, contact Beth Connor at 773.248.5200 (ext. 303) or visit www.chicagohouse.org.
