Area restaurants will band together to battle HIV/AIDS when they donate a portion of their proceeds to a local HIV/AIDS organization on Thursday, April 28, at Chicago's 13th annual "Dining Out for Life." As of early April, 82 city and suburban restaurants have signed on to participate (view list below).
The event's beneficiary is AIDSCare, an organization that provides invaluable housing, care and support services to hundreds of locally impacted individuals and families. In 2004, participating restaurants raised more than $75,000 for AIDSCare.
Chicago will be joining 21 other cities in North America that will hold Dining Out for Life evenings on April 28.
