Gay Russian flight attendant Maxim Kupreev said he was forced to get married to a woman to keep his job.
Kupreev, 25, said former high school girlfriend Sofia Mikhailova divorced her own husband and married Kupreev, to insure he kept his job with Aeroflot.
Aeroflot codeshares with the Sky Team Alliance, a group that also includes Air France and Delta.
LGBT activists in Moscow plan to protest at Aeroflot headquarters on Feb. 9.
"Aeroflot effectively broke a real marriage and created a sham one," Moscow Pride founder Nikolai Alekseev told Gay Star News.
