Oxnard, Calif. -
Brandon McInerney of Ventura County, Calif., was sentenced to 21 years in prison Monday for murdering a gay classmate.
McInerney was 14 when he pulled out a gun in a computer lab at E.O Green School in Oxnard and shot Larry King, 15, in February 2008.
Students and teachers testified that King had been dressing like a girl, flirting, and making other boys uncomfortable.
During Monday's sentencing hearing, King's parents said they could not forgive the killer.
