Chicago -
Roy Egan, a TSA security agent at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, has been fired after he was caught putting comments hostile to Muslims, gays, liberals and President Obama on his Facebook page.
ABC 7 Chicago reported that Egan had started working as a baggage handler at O'Hare shortly after September 11.
That ended this month, after supervisors caught wind of postings like "Islam a cult that glorifies death... and a filthy religion."
ABC asked Egan if his Facebook comments were appropriate.
"I don't refer to it in my job," he said.
ABC said the comments included "crude racial descriptions of President Barack Obama, the first lady and Attorney General Eric Holder, whom he said should 'die tasting your own blood.'"
Egan told the TV station that his own personal life is now in shambles and that he can't find an attorney willing to represent him as he fights to get his job back.
He insists he was just exercising his First Amendment right to free speech.
