Manila Luzon debuts new single November 8

Chicago, IL - Rhinestones, feathers, poignant comedic timing and a whole lot of hair equipped New York City drag starlet Manila Luzon in her runner-up captivation of audiences and judges alike on LOGO's reality series RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 3). With camp and craft, Luzon's queenly performances effected her a leading contender up until the series finale, and later again as a mentor on RuPaul's Drag U. Since then, Luzon has not let up on the competition in regards to face or fashion.

Proving she is still in the race, Luzon teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producers Brian Kierulf and Joshua Schwartz of KNS Productions in the release of her pop/dance single, "Hot Couture." The song promises an upbeat ode to fashion, dance, and drag. In the track, Luzon takes listeners for a night on the town with her from start to finish, donned in nothing but "hot" couture.

Since starring on LOGO, Luzon has also appeared in commercials for Orbitz and Gilead and can also be seen in an upcoming Absolut Vodka commercial. She is also a noted spokesperson and representative for companies such as DKNY, GLAAD, Instinct Magazine and AIDS Service Center NYC. Luzon also regularly appears at universities across the nation discussing gender issues and raising awareness for issues such as HIV/AIDS and gender equality.

"Hot Couture" will be released on iTunes and Amazon.com on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. The teaser for "Hot Couture" is posted on Youtube.
