TPAN Kicks Off Aware Affair

Chicago, IL - Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) kicked off The Aware Affair ticket sales campaign on Wednesday July 14, 2004 at Rhapsody. The Aware Affair is the annual benefit gala for TPAN, being held on September 10, 2004 in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago hotel. TPAN Board of Directors and the Aware Affair benefit committee invite individuals, businesses and organizations that value the community based programs and services offered by TPAN to become table captains.



Each table captain is asked to coordinate the purchase of one or more tables on ten. Available tickets for the Aware Affair are Positively Aware at $225 each (includes premier seating and special listing in the tribute book) and Passionately Aware at $175 each. Michael A. Leppen, Abbott Virology, C & M Medical Management, Gilead Sciences, and Roche Pharmaceuticals are directing sponsors for the Aware Affair. TPAN provides peer-led HIV Treatment Education, programming, outreach, support services, information dissemination, and advocacy. TPAN publishes and distributes two HIV/AIDS journals, Positively Aware and Positively Aware en EspaƱol, as well as the bilingual Chicago Area HIV Services Directory, and the Chicago Area Directory of HIV Professionals.
