Milwaukee, WI -
The only victim to escape Jeffrey Dahmer and a second man were charged Friday with recklessly endangering safety for an incident last week in which a man died.
According to the
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Timothy Larod Carr, 44, and Tracy M. Edwards, 52, each face charges in the drowning death of a third man after an argument that lead to the man falling into the river.
Edwards narrowly escaped the serial killer twenty years ago when Milwaukee police found him drugged and handcuffed in the street near Dahmer's apartment. He lead police back to the killer's apartment, where they discovered a refrigerator stuffed with human body parts.
Friends told WISN-TV that Edwards, who is homeless and has been in and out of jail, fought the psychological demons that came from his confrontation with Dalmer.
Dahmer was convicted of murdering 15 boys and men over 13 years, often having sex with their remains before eating them. He later died in prison after a fellow inmate beat him to death in 1994.
If convicted of the charge, Edwards and Carr face up to 7 1/2 years in prison, the Journal Sentinel reported.
