Los Angeles, CA -
Actor James Franco predicts more rumors that he's gay ahead of his fourth film in which he plays a gay character.
The 33-year-old actor played bisexual movie legend James Dean in the 2001 film James Dean. Seven years later later in the biopic Milk he played Scott Smith, the lover of slain gay activist and San Francisco supervisor Harvey Milk. And in another biographical role, he portrayed gay poet Allen Ginsberg in the film Howl.
All that role playing – along with posing in drag on the cover of transsexual magazine Candy last year – has fueled speculation that Franco himself might be gay or bisexual.
In an interview with Playboy, Franco predicts his latest film, The Broken Tower, in which he plays gay poet Hart Crane, will fuel new speculation about his sexual orientation.
"Some more great rumors will be coming up," Franco said.
"What do you mean?" the Playboy interviewer asked.
"I have a film coming that I directed about the poet Hart Crane, and I give a blow job in that movie," Franco responded.
The Broken Tower screened last month at the Los Angeles Film Festival, but a release date has yet to be announced.
