ABC 7 Chicago broadcasts the 35th Annual Gay Pride Parade

Chicago, IL - ABC 7 Chicago will broadcast "The 35th Annual Gay Pride Parade" on Sunday, June 27th, 11:35 p.m. - 12:35 a.m. Hosted by ABC 7's Entertainment Reporter and Host of "190 NORTH," Janet Davies, this is the first year ABC 7 Chicago has covered the parade and the first year any television station has offered extended coverage of the event. "190 NORTH's" Lou Canellis will join Davies as co-host of the broadcast while "190 NORTH's" Michelle Alegria and Doug Banks join the festivities on the street. ABC 7's Ron Magers, Rob Johnson, Karen Jordan, Karen Meyer, John Garcia, Steve Dolinsky and Leah Hope will participate in the parade via ABC 7 Chicago's float.



This year, "The 35th Annual Gay Pride Parade" kicks off from Halsted and Belmont on Chicago's north side. Esera Tuaolo, former professional football player and entertainer, will be the parade's Grand Marshall. "The Gay Pride Parade" is Chicago's second largest parade with 250 units and over 400,000 people on the street.



"The 35th Annual Gay Pride Parade" is produced by Christopher Bowen and will have an encore airing on Sunday, July 11th, 11:35 p.m. - 12:35.
